Nautical 3 tiered Wedding Cake

My cousin recently tied the knot with his long term lady and we couldn't have been happier to welcome her to our silly little family!

I had the honor of making their wedding cake for them as their gift!
The Cake flavor is a marble cake, the 10" round bottom is 1 layer, the 8" round middle is 3 layers and the 6" round cake on the top is 2 layers.
The cake is covered in white fondant and bordered with a glossy blue ribbon. I cut the anchor out of blue colored fondant and piped the draping rope with white icing.
The L and M monogram is to represent my cousin Mark and his beautiful bride Leslie.

This would normally retail for $250.

Braided Challah Bread

Attempting a few videos again!
Here is my recipe for braided challah bread

Start by combining 2 tsp of yeast into 1 cup warm water. Sprinkle a bit of sugar in the water to help the yeast ferment.
In a large bowl mix together 4 cups of flour, 1/4 cup sugar, 2 tsp salt, 2 eggs, 1 egg yolk, 1/4 cup oil then the water/ yeast mixture.
Mix into a ball and knead for 3-4 minutes.
Let rise in a warm place for 20 minutes.
Cut into 4 equal pieces and roll to desired length, allowing the pieces to rest a bit between.
Braid into a loaf.
Cover and let sit in a warm place for 10 minutes.
Brush with egg wash
Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.

Let cool and enjoy!
