Raspberry Cake

A piece I am quite fond of. There's a story behind this raspberry birthday cake. The beloved birthday girl was born in a raspberry field! She was so eager to arrive there was no time to waste to get to a hospital. So every year on her birthday they celebrate with a raspberry cake.
I was so honored to be able to make this. It feels to be a very important tradition in the client's family. So I put a twist on the favorite and made the cake into a little basket! Chocolate cake on the inside with raspberry jam and fresh raspberries between the layers. Surrounded with wafers and held together with a little bow.

This is.. Most definitely one of my favorite creations.

Wedding Cupcakes

I had the opportunity to pipe hundreds of cupcakes for my friends wedding! It was a wonderful experience to be a part of and it was one of the first times I had the chance to film the decorating process.

Being my first time I never thought to angle my phone the landscape way.... However a lesson I learned immediately haha

Combo of Vanilla, Chocolate and a cake for cutting.

Nautical 3 tiered Wedding Cake

My cousin recently tied the knot with his long term lady and we couldn't have been happier to welcome her to our silly little family!

I had the honor of making their wedding cake for them as their gift!
The Cake flavor is a marble cake, the 10" round bottom is 1 layer, the 8" round middle is 3 layers and the 6" round cake on the top is 2 layers.
The cake is covered in white fondant and bordered with a glossy blue ribbon. I cut the anchor out of blue colored fondant and piped the draping rope with white icing.
The L and M monogram is to represent my cousin Mark and his beautiful bride Leslie.

This would normally retail for $250.
